Timeline

  • September 9, 2026 — Roblox teases the event on socials with a cryptic “09 - 17 - 26”.
  • September 2026 (Roblox Innovation Awards) — full announcement with a retro-kaleidoscope trailer.
  • September 14 — Roblox Plus subscribers get early hub access ahead of the public opening.
  • September 17, 3 PM PT — the event opens to everyone.
  • September 27, 11 AM EST — the final puzzle unlocks in the hub (leaderboard players a few minutes early); first completions follow within a day.
  • September 28, 10 AM PT — the event ends; all quests close.

How the event worked

The hub held twenty islands, one per year from 2006 to 2025, grouped into seven eras — from “2006-2007: Where It All Began” to “2023-2025: New Classics”. New players had to visit all twenty islands in order before free travel unlocked. Each island’s game offered a main quest (20 main prizes) and a secret quest (20 secret prizes); clearing all forty unlocked the final puzzle and its Amictus Infinitum. Around that core sat launcher quests (three Reignment items), Roblox Plus perks, an 11-item Robux marketplace, and 21 join-year badges.

Why this event mattered

It was only the second modern Roblox event built around the platform’s own history (after The Classic in May 2024), and only the second ever to offer a Dominus grand prize, after Ready Player One in 2018. Accessory series dormant for over a decade — Dominus, Teapot, Paintball Mask, Bighead, Builders Club Hard Hat — came back for one twelve-day run. Missed it? Read what you can still get.
